Saturday

I Call Upon God

What it is all about
Why do I feel all alone?
God has left me...
Or so it feels.
As I fall to pieces
I crumble to my knees
With open hands reaching
I call upon God
The struggle is ended.
I have grasped a hold
God has not left me
I am not alone.

Tuesday

For Grandpa

Grandpa sits,
Waiting, waiting in fear
Alone.
Unaware of his surroundings,
Nothing recognizable,
Fearful.
He smiles; a familiar face,
A grandchild, gently touches,
Stroking
Carefully from the heart.
Patiently calming him,
Lovingly,
Until he's at peace.

Friday

To Letting Go

The darkened forest of the night
Still whispers in my mind.
The sound of the night creatures,
The endless cycle of the fast flowing stream
Calling as it overflows and weaves its way
With rhythms of bouncing secrets,
Erupting ghosts of forgotten time;
Holding onto the heart of Mother Nature.

Thursday

New Day

I awoke this morning,
And listened...
I could hear soft murmurings
Of the Spirit, as it filled the air and lingered near,
All earthly things became alive, and the soft stillness
Became a brand new day.

Wednesday

He Walks With You

Our years seem short
Often with broken hearts
Eyes filled with tears.
When God speaks
Your troubles are few

You will never walk alone
He walks with you....

Tuesday

Forgiveness

Forgiving
It doesn’t come easy
you might retaliate

Forgiving....
Let it come from inside,
Right alongside the hurt.

Forgiving....
Share it about;
Don’t hold it in your heart.

Forgiving....
Brings the love of our Lord
Into our lives.

Forgiving is unlimited....

Friday

Everyday

Everyday I grow in faith,
Without you I would not be.
In my dreams I see so much;
I see what makes a person wise.
The joy, the peace,
The love, which creates.
You alone are love,
You alone are everywhere.
Let me never leave You;
Let me go forward
Cheerfully and with love.

Wednesday

There Is a Place

There is a place not known to few
And those who know do not tell.
Go deep into the forests where you can breathe
The perfumed air of pine needles
And search for the pond that glows of gold.
You will know you are near when you see a ray of sunshine
Beaming aglow over the wild bunches of flowers.
Once there if you are lucky you will see
Rainbows of flashing colours as they dance on tippy toe.
This is their kingdom, the fairies' playground; home to the little folk.
Careful not to cast your shadow, as they will fly and be gone;
Be still, see the magic in their faces and believe...

Sunday

Like a Child

I close my eyes,
To see, to smell, to feel
Beings around me.
The beauty of their existence,
Freedom within, and innocence
Of the enchanted magical
Childhood fantasies
Long ago passed,
Remaining safe and secure in
My heart forever, just as it was
When I was a child.

Thursday

You Are

When the wind cries,
I hear You.
When the birds sing,
I hear You.
The voice of the wind
Are You.
You are the silent
Pulsing of my blood.
Larger Beings,
Greater Spirits;
Kinder, surer, stronger,
Ever seeking.
You are here...

All God's Creatures

Dragon flies, lady bugs, and Christmas beetles
Came together and hovered over the tiny stream,
Watching and guarding the delightful flower fairies
As they danced about the water lilies.
Petals fell from their wings, dropping into the stream,
And sparkled with aluminous dust as they floated away.
The fishes turned into glass rainbows as the dust touched each one,
The glow from the fishes lit up the earth;
A wind gently blew and carried the glow
To heaven for all God's creatures to see.

Wednesday

I Dream Brightly

Sometimes I close my eyes and see bright lights of rainbows
And a kaleidoscope of dreams: I can roam into pine filled forests,
Sail off to the seas and watch the sun rise over the horizons,
Travel far away to the kingdoms of fairy land
Where little folk people be.
As the sun rolls by in the heat of the day,
I cool down in magical mirrored pools.
When I open my eyes my heart is pleased;
My nature, my personality, looks back at me.

Tuesday

Ready

I had the strangest of dreams
I saw two angels waiting for me
They were picking up pieces of my life
A giant jigsaw puzzle of me
It was so clear that every piece told a different story
Piece by piece the angels brought them together
They became one whole me
I was ready...to follow the Light

Sunday

Fellowship

It is in sharing dreams and journeys;
Listening with hope and searching souls.
Entering Pain and sharing laughter
That every day begins.
Each word becomes one story; a oneness; a friendship
We take another's hand in prayer.

Saturday

Joy

A chorus of bells rang out
And they danced in the rain
On the pebbles
In the stream
Talking and wishing
About their dreams.
Sometimes
Someone would speak
To them;
Their tiny hearts
Would thump--
Shhh...listen to the sounds,
They cried,
God is whispering!

Birth of Unbelief

With anguished hearts,
Breathing fast;
Minds taunted,
Quarrels, harsh words,
Depressed stomach,
Impatient tongues,
Bitterness, hate,
Abandonment;
A child cries...
The strength is dead--
"And so Love ends."

The Great Climb

I am not alone.
Reaching, no longer searching;
Stronger, walking taller,
Head held higher,
I am in control;
He is reachable,
I have climbed and found my way.

Wings of Morning

Early dawn and the land was covered in dew.
Water lilies were beginning to flower
On the soft, crisp rippling stream.
The winds woke the beetles from their sleep,
Butterflies and bees came alive.
A dozen fairies began to sing,
Catching delicate pearls of magic mist
Upon their wings.

Friday

Beyond Bounds

A tiny cloud-filled stairway reached down from Heaven
To return tiny little creatures to their castle in fantasy land.
They were laden with precious memories of angels in paradise,
In their hearts they carried messages of boundless love.
Above welcoming shrieks from all who cheered,
Angelic voices sang out, "Come listen, we have good news to tell..."
At that moment a rainbow shone,

Stretching from the heavens to their tiny little land.
